In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 social apps in Georgia—TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and OK: Social Network—showed varying trends in downloads and revenue, as per Sensor Tower data.

TikTok experienced a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at around 30K in early January and peaking at 31.7K in early February. However, downloads declined to approximately 18.8K by early March, with a slight recovery to 22K by the end of the quarter. Revenue for TikTok showed a steady performance, averaging around $17K to $18K per week, with a peak of $19K in the last week of January.

Instagram maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, starting at 14K and peaking at 17.3K in the second week of January. By the end of March, downloads stabilized at around 12.2K. Revenue for Instagram was relatively stable, ranging from $181 to $259 weekly, with a peak in the second week of January.

Facebook saw a significant spike in downloads in the last week of February, reaching approximately 33.7K, up from an average of around 10K in the earlier weeks. Revenue for Facebook showed a minor increase, peaking at $214 in the first week of March and averaging around $150 to $170 per week for most of the quarter.

Threads showed a remarkable increase in downloads, especially in March, starting at 2.6K in early January and peaking at 11.5K in mid-March. No revenue data was available for Threads during this period.
